Add this template to the talk page of a protected page if you request that it be edited. It will be automatically listed below, and on the Wikinews:Admin action alerts page.

If the protected page is an archived published Wikinews article with a factual error, the edit will have to take the form of a {{correction}}.

This sorts the page into Category:Protected edit requests.

Note: Do not "subst" this template as {{subst:editprotected}}, simply use {{editprotected}}.
