editHi Rockerball, i've returned your editor status per consensus at WN:FRRFP. You probably are familiar enough with the tool so that you don't need to be given {{editor message}} a second time. :-) Cheers, Tempodivalse [talk] 14:18, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

editHi Rockerball! I've promoted you to an administrator after unanimous support to do so at your request for adminship. If you need any help with your new tools, please don't hesitate to ask me at my talk page, or Wikinews:Water cooler/assistance. Cheers and have fun. Tempodivalse [talk] 13:56, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
Signature
editHi Rockerball, maybe you could consider removing the Youtube link from your signature? It's generally frowned upon to place external links in your sig - imho it kinda disrupts the flow of conversations a bit to have the same EL popping up all the time. (More rationale about this is available at the wikipedia page for this; although it's not our policies, it brings up some good points.) Thanks and cheers, Tempodivalse [talk] 13:44, 20 April 2010 (UTC)
I've just copyedited this article for grammar, and not to put down either you or the article creator, but could you be sure to check a bit more closely when reviewing articles? It's a bit unprofessional to have articles with grammatical errors on the main page. Just something to keep in mind. Thanks, and congrats on your recent RfA. –Juliancolton | Talk 14:40, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
- Agree with Juliancolton; also, this had lots of grammatical errors and odd sentence constructions when it was published, and is still somewhat choppy after I rephrased things. Rather disappointed it went on lead one, tbh. Please do some copyedit next time you see an article with poor grammar. Cheers, Tempodivalse [talk] 15:12, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
Review backlog
editThank you for having a go at the backlog on unreviewed articles. But, I'm always a little concerned when I don't see some copyedit on articles prior to publication.
I'm biting my tongue on being critical as you seem to have managed to read at over 250 words-per-minute between two reviews, and carried out grammar, and fact-checking. But, I'll get back to reviewer status and review requirements another time.
Please review the rather verbose musings on my talk page; you've left me with no "real work" to do, I may even be forced to write an article! :-P --Brian McNeil / talk 09:15, 8 June 2010 (UTC)
- You're welcome. Some articles don't really need copyedits (a letter or so maybe) IMHO. With that many reviews, I'm bound to miss somthing. In some cases I had actually reviewed an article and didn't fill in the PR form, so when I came back I filled it in (after a quick rereveiw to be sure nothing had changed). As I said I was bound to miss something with all of those reviews.--RockerballAustralia c 09:53, 8 June 2010 (UTC)
Skenmy's oversight request
editJust to note, I struck my oppose to the above. Since you're reason to oppose was simply 'per BRS' I thought I'd drop by. I'm not trying to pressure you to do the same; I just thought you should know as it may affect your views on the matter. Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 17:14, 25 June 2010 (UTC)

Now it's your turn...
edit2010 FIFA World Cup: Spain beats Chile; both go to second round : It needs some copyediting, and then, could you publish it? It took me some time to write it and your help would be really appreciated. Thanks! --Diego Grez return fire 02:39, 26 June 2010 (UTC)
Please take more care when reviewing articles
editWhether or not the title of 2010 FIFA World Cup: arriverderci Italia! is appropriate, could you at least ensure that it is spelt correctly? The correct spelling is arrivederci (minus an R). Correctly-spelt titles would probably help the project's credibility. Please take more care in future—reviewing is not supposed to be just a simple rubber stamp. -BKCW8 talk 06:28, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
Figured this would be of interest to you since you reviewed the article. I found it on the main page with the {{review}} tag still visible. A null-edit fixed it. --Pi zero (talk) 06:06, 18 July 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks. I knew some thing screwed up and I couldn't figure out how to fix it --RockerballAustralia c 06:26, 18 July 2010 (UTC)

editFor your outstanding work on the Gippsland League and the federal election. Your contributions are very much appreciated! :) Benny the mascot (talk) 15:03, 19 July 2010 (UTC)

I have added six more photos to the talk page, as well as more details about the fire. Arial footage is going to air on our local news station in about 5 mins, so I can probably get more info then as well. How is it to encyclopedic?Drew R. Smith (talk) 06:56, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
Reviewer status
editFYI I just closed the request for removal of your reviewer status as no consensus to remove, and so you will keep the bit. PLEASE be more careful in future, no one wants to see you there again. the wub "?!" 23:24, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
Quick bit of help requested before you Wikibreak...
editHi Rockerball. I just came across an interesting article on Radio Australia's Tok Pisin news service, saying that the High Court has ruled that if you aren't registered to vote in the Federal Elections on the 21st of August, you can still vote in them. I was wondering since you're sort of "on the floor", whether you could point me in the right directions of who to speak to or whether you could try and get an interview or quotes about it? It seems kind of a backfire to let people vote who aren't registered to vote...they could be anyone :) Your help welcomed if possible. BarkingFish (talk) 20:36, 6 August 2010 (UTC)
RE: Hungry Jacks
editSorry I didn't get back to you sooner, I went on somewhat of a wikibreak - Cartman02au (Talk)(AU Portal) 23:08, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
COI?
editI'm not able to review the article, but it seems you may have a serious conflict of interest in writing it. - Amgine | t 06:09, 25 August 2010 (UTC)
- True that I have that COI. How serious that COI, I don't know. I think that'd be right at the edge of acceptable. --RockerballAustralia c 06:28, 25 August 2010 (UTC)
I think that knowing the subjects of the (school) article is not a particularly serious COI, though it should be declared, which is why I passed your first article on the school controversy. If, however, you were to become involved in the campaign for the teachers, that would be a different matter. If you do decide to post on Facebook or otherwise participate in the matter, leave your (virtual) notebook and tape recorder behind (or write on that topic for another website.) --InfantGorilla (talk) 13:59, 25 August 2010 (UTC)
- If I did become involved, the (possible) protest for example, I'd provide my side of the story, video's and what ever else I produce in the form of a press kit. I'd leave it to some one else to write in those cases. -RockerballAustralia c 01:37, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
2010 AFL Grand Final
editHey, just wondering if you want to collabrate on this again, like we have the last two years? I'm not on a bus trip this year, nor can I be called into work prior to 4:00pm, so half each, I'll do Q1 and Q3 (like 2008)? -- DizzyStar (talk) 21:05, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
GF 2010
editSee my notes at Wikinews talk:Story preparation/Collingwood and St. Kilda play in 2010 AFL Grand Final. What quarters do you want this year? Being a Collingwood supporter (I'm not as bad to be a conflict of interest) I'd rather take Q1 and Q3 so I can go nuts at 5 :P. But if you can't do Q1, I'll do 2 and 4. -- DizzyStar (talk) 05:42, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
- OK, everythings set for tomorrow. IRC channel is all set (link is on the collabration page). So yeah, everythings right. I'll be on IRC well before 2:30pm hopefully (proberly before 2 even), ready for the first bounce. -- DizzyStar (talk) 12:18, 24 September 2010 (UTC)
- Unfourtantly, I've been rostered on at work Saturday afternoon, so I won't be able to cover the replay. Sorry :( -- DizzyStar (talk) 20:41, 28 September 2010 (UTC)
EPR not only didn't sight, it didn't even edit the article. It did put the passing template on the talk page, and I noticed when YT followed the (misleading!) instructions on the template by replacing {{review}} with {{publish}}. I've manually done what EPR should have done to the article. --Pi zero (talk) 16:20, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, it looks like I may have screwed up on this. Some of the edits included in my "fix" look like they post-dated your review. --Pi zero (talk) 17:33, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
I've UNSIGHTED it, because I ROYALLY SCREWED UP. I should never have touched this article. Please take a look and figure out which version of it should be published. --Pi zero (talk) 17:42, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
