Comments by reviewer: Wikinews currently has no policy or guideline regarding AI-generated content. Therefore if AI-generated content is used, it must be backed by sound human editing. Article composition should start by answering the WN:5Ws. In the case of this article's headline, the "What' is 'Israel confirms death of...' and the "When" of that is October 17. October 16 is when Sinwar was killed. The "Why" is also not answered . The image description must be a complete sentence, indicate it is a file photo, and should include {{image}} for attribution, all per WN:Style. The AP News article is better-suited for background information on Sinwar and a second source article should be used to support the focal event. Neutrality in an article such as this is crucial. The article should mention at least Hamas' reaction. Also, we don't use the word 'terrorist' unless we attribute it. For example; 'IDF Spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari said "He was fleeing from house to house, we identified him as a terrorist, we closed in professionally and eliminated him." Wikinews:Neutrality#Avoiding_phrase_bias There are minor problems with punctuation that could be corrected as part of the review process but given other problems preventing publication and the newness of the original author, it should all be addressed before review to help familiarize one with our policies and guidelines. Questions about the above? Ask. If possible, please address the above issues then resubmit the article for another review (by replacing {{tasks}} in the article with {{review}}). This talk page will be updated with subsequent reviews. |

- I added Iran's reaction and revised the words of the Israeli government against terrorists, and resubmitted it for review, but I found that the Israeli military had released an official clip, so I think the relevant paragraphs of social media should be replaced: Unverified images circulating on social media allegedly showed Sinwar's body. - Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian expressed his condolences regarding the death of Yahya Sinwar sources 1, sources 2. Kitabc12345 (talk) 18:58, 18 October 2024 (UTC)
