Category:Aviation accidents and incidents

This is the stable version, checked on 2 January 2019. Template changes await review.

This is the category for aviation accidents and incidents, internationally used terms that, between them, cover any event where the safety of an aircraft was, or could have been, compromised.

Accidents are, deliberately, defined by the industry in such a way as to not actually require them to be an accident. This is so events such as bombings can still be examined from a safety perspective independent of any criminal investigation.
