Welcome a bit: new release, Version 3

Gui, improvement advertised as point 1 in this text.

Hi all,

Here is version 3 of the 'welcome a bit' tool.

1) Now with easier gui signup -- see instructions here.

2) For those of you who receive notifications to talk page, gui is available to remove obsoleted notifications. A script is available now to facilitate this. If you add

to your Special:MyPage/common.js, then at the end of each section which was added by 'welcome a bit' there will be a large blue word 'Remove'. It prompts to delete the corresponding section in two clicks. Thanks to Qwerty number1 for suggesting and testing this feature.

3) Also now the notifications say which categories the articles belong to, and who is their author.

In the next version I plan to sort the list of articles, which you are being notified about, by date. Please share your suggestions.

Please note that to reduce confusion I've made signing up even easier: just leave me a message. This is now also linked at the main documentation page. --Gryllida (talk) 01:18, 29 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I've added this to cron now just so that it does not miss days after my computer rebooted. Gryllida (talk) 00:04, 3 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
