Images from Commons

You can use images from commons by just using them as if they were normal images, for instance, the image to the right is from commons - if you look at the source you'll see it's just a normal image tag. --Skenmy^{(t•c•w•i)} 08:18, 1 July 2007 (UTC)

'SiCKO' story

I don't know how I missed that sentence in the fox story about the sell-outs. I will gladly add that back. However, the Weinstein press release [1] was not and is not in the sources of the article. It would be of questionable to add additional sources at this point. And how important is it to the story that it beat NRG (Nielsen) estimates? 'Mens News Daily' and other outlets

I hope you realized the "nature of the beast" when you got into Wikinews. Wikinews is CC-BY-2.5 meaning anyone can use our content for whatever purpose they want, as long as they say they got it from Wikinews. The reason I was concerned was that other outlets had already picked up our article, which at the time was not properly sourced, meaning we could possibly have been spreading inaccurate news. Other outlets can pick it up as soon as we put the "publish" tag on the story. It is our fault for not verifying the sources before we published. It turns out that the story was fine it was just a sloppy editor that put the sources section together. --SVTCobra 12:38, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

It is imperative to be specific

If you cannot be specific, I will not leave sentences that make statements that leave questions unanswered. Answer the assertion that accompanies a quote. If it is unaswerable, the assertion should not be made. -Edbrown05 08:13, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

You cannot ascribe a quote by Ellison to refer to the handing of documents sought by National Archives while media is painting a bigger picture of secrets in the Bush administration delegated to Cheney. It is more complex than that. -Edbrown05 08:29, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

We report the news not analyze it, nor take sides. I changed it to "Over Vice President Cheney's recalcitrance" If Ellison slammed Cheney for being a 'three headed monster' we would report that, even though he might be the only person on earth who believes that Cheney is a three headed monster. You might also consider deleting much of your userpage. Polemics like your personal opinions regarding 'Plamegate' are strongly discouraged on WikiEN. I wasn't mad. I was in error when I wrote 'testify'. Why didn't you add the correct information to provide context to Ellison calling Cheney 'Totalitarian' instead of just deleting the context?fnordEmperor NortonXXIII 21:11, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

Steven added the correction template, so take a look at it and how it is used. However, you'll have to check the history to see it, since Ed has removed it already. Changing subjects a bit, I believe the date of this article should have been July 16 all along. --SVTCobra 13:07, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
