Maïwenn is a friend of mine who attended the event. I saw she was posting on Instagram about being there, and I was already planning on writing an article about the festival, so I asked her a few questions which you can see on the Google Photos link. Asheiou (talk) 11:29, 18 June 2023 (UTC)

Admittedly, the sourcing is not optimal. Maïwenn, in the screenshot-documented conversation, doesn't exactly make clear this did happen this year, which only Ouest-France does. But, Le Télégramme anticipates the festival in great detail, and noting there appear to be no other post-festival sources, I think this is sufficient. Heavy Water (talk) 02:41, 26 June 2023 (UTC)

Finistère

@Heavy Water I don't see how "Finistère department of the west of France" is a statement that requires sourcing. Finistère as a term only refers to the westernmost department in metropolitan France. Asheiou (talk) 20:47, 26 June 2023 (UTC)

That it is the only Finistère doesn't matter. "[D]epartment of the west of" is unsourced, and it certainly doesn't meet WN:CS' common-knowledge standard of "France is in Europe". Heavy Water (talk) 23:38, 26 June 2023 (UTC)

Finistère is part of Brittany. But since Brittany is considered historic and is not a name of any administrative division of France, it should probably be avoided. Brittany should definitely not be used in the title and unmentioned in the text of the article. SVTCobra 23:57, 26 June 2023 (UTC)

Re. Sourcing of translations

@Heavy Water I agree that translations shouldn't require a source, because in my opinion that would also stipulate "no non-English sources", making reporting on issues that have little English-language coverage nigh on impossible. Asheiou (talk) 01:04, 27 June 2023 (UTC)
