@DannyS712: An example of procedural knowledge it'd be nice to embody in a semi-automated assistant: When setting up a new category, preferred order is
  1. figure out what'll go in it.
  2. set up the category itself.
  3. populate the category.
  4. create the redirect(s) and link from Wikidata.
The point of putting that last item last is to not direct users to the category page until it contains the information they're being directed there to find. --Pi zero (talk) 17:49, 13 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Pi zero: Apologies. For future categories, should I make this list and then leave the redirect for the admin who populates it? --DannyS712 (talk) 17:53, 13 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
@DannyS712: Not a problem; just a note, going forward. As I recall, when acagastya, who created that template, was applying it, they'd add at the bottom a reminder to set up the appropriate redirect(s) once populated. (Though, come to think, some of those had recommended lists of redirects, as there were some complicated variants on the name.) --Pi zero (talk) 17:58, 13 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Done plus a few more. Didn't do the first one on the list, though. --SVTCobra 19:39, 13 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

@DannyS712: Luckily, I had the time to do it now, but sometimes these requests can sit for a long time, which is when it becomes problematic if redirects are created prematurely. Cheers, --SVTCobra 19:56, 13 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
