Disable MobileFrontend and enable the Timeless skin for mobile users

Hello,

I'm seeing a number of recent edits tagged as 'mobile edit' recently. An edit is tagged like this if the web browser auto-detected the device as a mobile device, in which case the contributor uses the MobileFrontend skin and extension. How do you think, would the Timeless skin be more useful instead?

You can test these skins here, just open these links in a new window and resize it to a small size, such as 200px wide and 400px high or something similar:

In recent times I've found the interface has gotten twitchy, randomly inserting stuff where none was requested and thereby making it harder to do serious editing. I figured this was due to counter-productive initiatives by the Foundation, such as VE. Mentioning here because it seems part of the puzzle. --Pi zero (talk) 15:41, 2 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I'm still interested in using the timeless skin by default. The timeless skin is developed by a volunteer and funded by the wikimedia foundation through a grant, but the development is still lead by the said volunteer; they aim to retain compatibility and be sensible whenever possible.
