User talk:Setting a democratic precedent/sandbox/One of Taiwan's PBS directors resigned amid political pressures

I sure would like to........ edit

.....see this article go somewhere, but it has to be freshened up AND the sources have to be marked up in English. Sorry!--Bddpaux (talk) 15:29, 26 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Will update on Saturday and Sunday (UTC+8) edit

It would be convenient for me to work on Wikinews on Saturday & Sunday because they are holidays in Taiwan. I plan to add tomorrow (Saturday) & next tomorrow (Sunday) the opinion of the minister of culture. Setting a democratic precedent (talk) 19:52, 28 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

International audience edit

Reading this as an outsider, I have no idea what PBS, KMT, or DPP is. Can the article link or explain these acronyms without getting encyclopedic? --SVTCobra 17:55, 29 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Yes, will do it tomorrow on Feb 5. Thanks for your attention. Setting a democratic precedent (talk) 18:53, 3 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
There might be some misunderstanding, you explained what PBS is in your last edit to the article which is not at all required. Your clarification in here is aprreciated. In general, odd terms like these must be used without abbreviations. Also another issue pointed out by @Bddpaux about the language of the sources has not yet been fixed. The news is currently stale. The points noted by Cromium are of concern. We highly appreciate your efforts and hope to see you create articles about more news in the coming future. Consider creating short articles for a trial period of Feb 1–Apr 30 and help freshening up Wikinews.
@Cromium, @SVTCobra, delete? 2006nishan178713t@lk 16:46, 5 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi! Thanks for the notice. I have been working to improve the article according to Cromium's precious feedback because I plan to treat this article as learning material to grow my practical experience in writing news story. So please do not delete it. I am fine with not publishing it. Thanks a lot. Setting a democratic precedent (talk) 16:55, 5 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Setting a democratic precedent, If you want, we can put it in your user sandbox/subpage. 2006nishan178713t@lk 16:58, 5 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thank you so much and I wish you the same! For the sake of checking the diffs, can you also merge the edit histories for talk page and article into User:Setting a democratic precedent/sandbox/One of Taiwan's PBS directors resigned amid political pressures? Gratitude! Setting a democratic precedent (talk) 17:11, 5 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
Unfortunately I don't have the rights to do that. You need to contact an administrator for help. Cromium, SVTCobra or Bddpaux can help I guess. 2006nishan178713t@lk 17:20, 5 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Bddpaux:, could you assist in this matter? Setting a democratic precedent (talk) 17:28, 5 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
I don't think it is applicable to transfer edit histories in the sandbox 2006nishan178713t@lk 17:34, 5 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
Ahh, let me just clarify what I mean here. I mean, @Bddpaux:, could you assist in merging the edit histories for talk page and article into User:Setting a democratic precedent/sandbox/One of Taiwan's PBS directors resigned amid political pressures so that I will be able to check diffs to look at the sequence of the logistics of whole my writing? Thank you all! --Setting a democratic precedent (talk) 17:49, 5 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
