Thanks SVTCobra. Happy New Year. --Gryllida (talk) 20:54, 1 January 2021 (UTC)
Bug
There was a bug in 'welcome a bit', that caused it to deliver an excessively long list of entries. Removed manually and wrote a fix into the script. Hope it will work better from now on. --Gryllida (talk) 10:09, 5 February 2021 (UTC)
Please note
Hi, SVTCobra -- the devs broke the flagged-revs, and now, if you make an edit to an article whose most recent edit was already sighted, your edit will be auto-sighted too -- and you would have to un-approve it manually going through the history (which affects only reviewers). Please be aware -- if you make some change for other reviewer to sight, it might not show up because it was auto-sighted unless you make the extra effort.

- OK, I was used to just pay attention to the check-boxes, but I will keep this in mind. However, I am going to rename the article per naming conventions. Present-tense. Cheers, --SVTCobra 18:25, 27 April 2021 (UTC)
- SVTCobra, we do not rename published articles before it is archived, unless it is a serious emergency! Please see this. I messed up, it is on me. If you see the issue next time, please inform on talk, and please don't move unless absolutely necessary.
•–• 18:34, 27 April 2021 (UTC)- And even if you do, please never remove the redirect -- I notice you left the redirect as it is -- that is good!
•–• 18:35, 27 April 2021 (UTC)- Well, pre-publish I would not leave a redirect, but I was keenly aware in this case. Cheers, --SVTCobra 18:37, 27 April 2021 (UTC)
- Reading the linked talk, I don't see anything related to an established code for re-titling published articles. I certainly don't remember one from my years here. The 'leaving a link' rule I know because of potential mirrors etc. --SVTCobra 18:44, 27 April 2021 (UTC)

that is one of the oral traditions passed on by reviewers to noobs on IRC while discussing the process of review -- if you want, I could go through the years full of logs to find it -- but to summarise -- it creates multiple entries in RSS feed, and that is undesirable. From memory, and I am not too confident, pi said that in a discussion Brian McNeil had said such duplicate entries are punished by Google news.

- No, I'd never ask you to search logs. Anyway, I think we are both clear that post-publish renames need to be at a minimum but WN:NC needs to be upheld, too. Cheers, --SVTCobra 18:52, 27 April 2021 (UTC)
- Going through the logs is bittersweet. There are so many great conversations; but it also hurts to know pizero is gone. Frankly, just that thought is enough to make me choke on tears and nostalgia. By the way, could you please come by on IRC, I need to ask you something, and a rather instant messaging will be better.

Re this, SVTCobra, there are some users who add unnecessary personal details like who rapped and who lives where and what are their hobbies. I have a suspicion this could be used for doxing. So I suggest emptying the additional comments while deleting those pages. Obviously, if you have a better way of handling, let me know!

new question
...here at the RfP. Regards, --Gryllida (talk) 03:09, 5 May 2021 (UTC)
??
You still around??--Bddpaux (talk) 15:44, 15 July 2021 (UTC)
- Hello?--Bddpaux (talk) 14:06, 23 July 2021 (UTC)
- OK.....so......this is it: if you're interested in your nomination for 'Crat, you need to make some sort of good faith statement over at RfP to that effect. If not.....no big deal, but just wanted to give you a final shot at things.--Bddpaux (talk) 00:24, 2 August 2021 (UTC)
Bureaucrat nomination
Hello. Unfortunately, I have had to close your nomination as unsuccessful because of the recent inactivity but also because it had been open too long. When you do return, I’d be happy to renominate you after a reasonable period of activity. --Green Giant (talk) 02:41, 7 August 2021 (UTC)
- Yes, it was for the best. Sorry. --SVTCobra 03:05, 12 December 2021 (UTC)
filter 38
Apologies for the delay, I tried understanding the filter and then Tks4Fish helped me with it. It should be fixed now. Let's hope it does not cause any more issues. Cheers.

- No worries. I actually think this was very quick turnaround for this issue. Thanks! Let's hope 2022 will be better than 2021. Cheers, SVTCobra 19:16, 31 December 2021 (UTC)
