About your Michael Vick article

edit

I just wanted to let you know that I'm redirecting your article to a Michael Vick category. That's the typical way we do a list of "all the articles about..." Just FYI. :) irid:t 14:33, 5 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your articles

edit

You are doing a good job so far on your articles. However, I would recommend, instead of leaving ready on your articles and waiting for others to review them, to publish them. A few of them could have been published after you created them but they were not. They were published many hours later, and that's bad because news gets old. I didn't remove your first lead, but I did swap out the second lead (which hadn't been updated in a while) with my interview. When you have a chance, read it and tell me what you think! TheCustomOfLife 03:28, 26 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Obits...

edit

Any chance you could consider doing these on a weekly basis?

You may be also interested to note that there are some pre-written obits in the Story Preparation area... ShakespeareFan00 12:40, 21 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well done. I think the collection of obituaries is a good idea. --User:Anonymous101 Talk 15:53, 21 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

(Response to message on my talk page) Don't worry if you can't do it weekly, just coming up with the idea is good. If you want me to hakp expand and add more obituaries I will happily do it. --User:Anonymous101 Talk 15:56, 25 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I would like to thank our users who have helped increase our level of Original Reporting content. Some users who I think have been especially helpful are Leila Monaghan (talk · contribs) who has got interviews despite being a very new user and BrockF5 (talk · contribs) who has continued to provide us with excellent reports and images. In addition, Brianmc (talk · contribs) has been helpful in combatting vandalism. --Anonymous101 (talk · contribs) 19:47, 19 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Could you please explain to me why you have tagged my transcript as a Copyvio? --Munchkinguy - (talk) 03:04, 9 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Men's News Daily is pretty much a mirror of our content. I wonder why you tagged it as such myself. TheCustomOfLife - (talk) 03:08, 9 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. That's the second time today. First time was a Speedy Deletion on the same page. Talk about a welcome back :-\ --Munchkinguy - (talk) 03:19, 9 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Editor's note

In the last few months activity on Wikinews has continued to decrease to an incredibly low level. There are hardly any new contributers joining and one of our best users, DragonFire1024 (talk · contribs) has gone on Wikibreak. However, some excellent articles are continuing to be written. Hockey

edit

Wow...thanks for the Hockey article for the 18...I liked to be able to catch up a little. I am a hockey fan, but I am not a good sports writer :-P So thanks...BTW I like the layout. You might want to add a little more information about the select sections that you wrote about to add a little more to the article, but other than that, I quite like it. Good job :-) DragonFire1024 (Talk to the Dragon) 03:38, 19 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
