What kills me is the name of the church: Dove. World. Outreach. Really? The Dove: a traditional symbol of peace. World: as in, seeing outside of your own backyard. Outreach: as in, NOT burning the sacred objects of someone else's faith. These guys got it all wrong.

"Outreach" in this instance means more that they are trying to spread their message outside the bounds of their congregation, which they are clearly doing. I say burn all algebra books. That is a far more insidious Muslim scheme that is TAUGHT IN EVERY AMERICAN SCHOOL. 24.159.17.25 (talk) 17:20, 9 September 2010 (UTC)

Not only Muslim but Iranian. Iranian engineers today probably use algebra to build nuclear power stations, so right thinking people should close their minds to all algebra.

Christian fundamentalists are known for two things: Self-Righteiousness and Hypocricy. So, I'm not surprised that another deluded "Christian" Pastor has gone off the deep end. Muslims have suicide bombers and Jihadists, Christianity has bigots, charlatans and lunatics.

I would like to hope that the bigots, charlatans and lunatics are in the minority of the fundamentalists (and in the rest of society.) I find most fundamentalists to be thoroughly decent and caring human beings.

However, now and again, whole chunks of society can be caught up in bigotry, which is the goal of some of the extremists.
