@Pi zero: you have mentioned it passes newsworthiness criteria. But, it is three days old, and heavily covered in MSM. I am comfortable calling it fresh. What do you say?

It's worth noting this is by a new arrival at Wikinews who's still learning, and significant effort has gone into this article. I imagine those things shade my attitude toward the article's freshness a bit. --Pi zero (talk) 12:38, 5 October 2017 (UTC)
