Talk:US President Trump announces troop withdrawal from Syria
Coverage
editSo glad we're covering this. I'd put this in the edit summary of my typo check, but I saw none. Props, SVT. Darkfrog24 (talk) 02:29, 8 October 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you. --SVTCobra 03:51, 8 October 2019 (UTC)
Notes for the reviewer
edit- In the quotes from Graham, I verified through the video that no [...] is necessary in spots where Fox injected a "he said" or similar.
- I usually find an opposing view to include, but Trump seems very alone on this one. I saw a generic "I support the President" from Rand Paul that didn't seem worthy of inclusion.
- I am also aware the map is one that gets updated, so we may need to locally upload to keep a static copy, which I will do if this is published

Two million
edit@SVTCobra: I'm concerned we may have misunderstood the CNN source, about this. It's not clear the number of Syrian refugees in Turkey is down from 3.6 million; it may be that they're all still there, but Turkey only plans to put two million of them in the envisioned safe zone. If that's what CNN meant, then we need a {{correction}} (a frustrating prospect, since we've only got about one correction for every 200 articles). --Pi zero (talk) 22:41, 10 October 2019 (UTC)
- Indeed this appears to be the case. Countless sources ([1], [2]) all state there are currently 3.6 million Syrian refugees currently in Turkey. I will draft a {{correction}} for your approval. --SVTCobra 12:20, 11 October 2019 (UTC)
