Notes edit

  • Translation 1 from Swedish (SVT): ”Det är den värsta arbetsdagen i mitt liv.” Så beskriver Mattias Johansson, varuhuschef på Ikea i Västerås, via Google Translate: "It is the worst working day of my life." So describes Mattias Johansson, department manager at Ikea in Vasteras ... My translation is slightly different due to my expertise in Scandinavian languages, but I think it is better.
... Google: There was a 55-year-old woman and her 28-year-old son who was murdered knife at Ikea. In the housewares department broke the killers to - police describe it as a "crazy event," and that the mother and son may have been randomly attacked.

This article is not my best work. The prose feels a bit clunky. Be gentle. --SVTCobra 21:07, 10 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Infobox edit

Should not the infobox be of Crime and law instead of Sweden?

Either would be a reasonable choice. The Sweden angle seems rather prominent in this case (perhaps it feels that way because two of the sources are in Swedish.) --Pi zero (talk) 02:08, 11 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
That is entirely unimportant to me. I guess the whole Sweden and IKEA combo got to me (?). Of course, when Wikinews becomes super-huge, we'll have infoboxes for "Crime in Sweden" etc. For now, I just thought having any appropriate infobox was fine. Change it if you like. Cheers.--SVTCobra 02:44, 11 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
I rather like the choice of Sweden, myself. --Pi zero (talk) 03:00, 11 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
