Talk:Arabs react to Israeli debate on Jerusalem's Holy sites
I'm not sure how a gallery of long-existing sights fits a news article; it's not an encyclopedia. Just a thought that keeps coming to me recurrently after reading the thing a few times. —Gryllida 11:15, 27 February 2014 (UTC)
Gryllida, Thank you for that comment! Actually, that is one reason for why I chose this news event because I knew that Wikimedia Commons had a deep archive of photos on all of those sites that are behind this debate. The photos provide depth that readers might chose to look at while others can ignore them. Just like we use links to let people dig into an issue behind the event, the photos perform a similar service for the visual people. I was amazed at how many photos Wikimedia Commons also has on Paco de Lucia! Crtew (talk) 16:33, 27 February 2014 (UTC)
