Damascus story
editThis story should be recoverable; that's why I merely commented it out, as a way of indicating it hadn't actually passed, rather than removing it. The facts are verified by the supplemental source, and this isn't the first time we've had a briefs item that expands rather freely on our previous published article — but since it doesn't even share the same focus as our earlier article, it needs to have two independent sources. Afaics, there isn't any information in this briefs item that comes from our previously published article.
(Meanwhile, I haven't finished going through the other items yet.) --Pi zero (talk) 22:57, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
- I'm allowing the bit about Union Rags winning the Belmont even though it only has one source, though this is marginal. My excuse for allowing it is that a big part of the piece is still about I'll Have Another. But it'd be the better part of valor to have a second source for Union Rags. :-) --Pi zero (talk) 23:05, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
- These matters appear to have been cleared up. --Pi zero (talk) 00:23, 11 June 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks Pi for the thorough review and like always making the work better!Crtew (talk) 00:31, 11 June 2012 (UTC)
