How do I create an English wikinews article that is a translation of a different language wikinews article?
I have made an attempt at translating an Esperanto wikinews article to English, but I'm sure I have not formatted / credited it correctly.
Could someone help me get this right, and ideally point me at the instructions for doing it that I've been unable to find?
The article is here.

- @Brad4dCSmith: {{Translated Wikinews}} is the template you want. The problem is that this happened on March 30, which is most definitely stale. Heavy Water (talk) 16:20, 14 May 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you.
- I'll see if I can figure out how to use that template. Is there some way to search existing articles to discover examples of its use?
- I'm not terribly surprised to hear that this article is considered too stale. I'm willing to delete it and just consider this a practice run.
- On the other hand, though, why should the staleness criteria apply to translations? I searched for this topic in English Wikinews and could not find it. So users of English Wikinews just don't have access to this information. That doesn't seem like a good thing, does it?
- Is there some way to search Wikinews across languages and leverage e.g. Google Translate to read what you find? Brad4dCSmith (talk) 16:36, 14 May 2023 (UTC)
