Successful accreditation request. Diego Grez return fire 21:26, 10 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Name: [redacted]
- Location: Locals are NYC, NJ, and PA
- Areas of interest: Technology, Activism, Disasters, Crime, Politics (strict NPOV)
- Reason: I desire accreditation for access to areas for the use of the press media, and access to court hearings and disaster areas (if one should occur)
- Accomplishments: Published 3 (+1 in peer) articles on Wikinews, in which two have made the front page, and have contributed several Audio Versions, and have received praise on both talk page and IRC. I also am proud of my work on EN Wikipedia, including the Essay w:WP:PEW, which I intend to present rewritten as a guideline later in the year.

- User ID: 253394
- Applied on: 03:25, 30 March 2011 (UTC)
After discussion on IRC, I know of three users who will support my request for accreditation. I would have not bothered if otherwise. I also plan on purchasing external audio equipment to use during interviews for ORs. For your consideration, Phearson (talk) 03:25, 30 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- NOTE: Because I live with others, I fear retribution in case someone looks up my IRL name if I publish something they don't like. I will be more then happy to provide ID to the foundation. Phearson (talk) 03:39, 30 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Reply Because the policy is not clear in regards to this particular area, I have left a note on User talk:brianmc requesting clarification. Now moot as I have given my real name. Phearson (talk) 00:35, 31 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

edit- Support Xe may be new and below the threshold, but frankly, I don't give a damn. Talking with xyr on IRC, xe seems very willing to contribute and I feel xe will use and not abuse xyrs credentials. I'd be very glad to have interviews with full audio. So Phearson, you have my blessing. :) --Patrick M (TUFKAAP) (talk) 03:51, 30 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Full support - The published articles look great, a lot of work and a good clear understanding of style and layout. The audio articles are a big plus, good quality, clearly read and spot on. I'm with TUFKAAP on this one. Forget the threshold, this user deserves accreditation right off the bat. BarkingFish (talk) 04:01, 30 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Support—I expect this user's work can only improve through OR, and that he will not misuse his accreditation. DENDODGE 15:02, 31 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Support Get reviewer too. Diego Grez return fire 21:19, 4 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Full support He's an excellent writer with a lot of ambition and obvious motivation. I say let him contribute! --Anthony M
