Closed as "Not going to succeed this time" - You only joined us today, and it normally takes around 3 months and a good few contributions of articles in order to receive or even be considered for accreditation. Sorry, but right now, this is a no. BarkingFish (talk) 23:12, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Name: Mason Fetterer
- Location: Naples, FL
- Areas of interest: Weather, Sports, Music, Theatre, Movies, Traffic.
- Reason: I would like to contribute to wikinews the many local events in the SWFL area, and many of the music venues such as Grumpy's in Naples Park, and several other venues have discriminatory age restrictions that prevent me from reporting at these locations. Other venues charge rediculous fees such as the Naples Philharmonic Center for the Arts, and none of the venues allow me to talk to any of the VIPS without a form of press issued identification. I need a press credential to continue contributing events in SWFL to a news source that is not owned by a liberal media group.
- Accomplishments: A WINK Younews article on the flooding following TS Fay, an article about a UFO over East Naples, http://www.uforeported.com/101-ufo-sighting-over-east-naples-florida.htm

edit- Support The wikinews community desparately needs someone from SWFL, I have heard of several ufo incidents there, and the government is all hush hush, and we want disclosure, and your accredidation is one step closer. You got a UFO probably no one noticed, and we need as many UFO reports if we want full disclosure. :) --[[User:|Littlealeinn (278587 ) ]]
- Immediate Oppose - You don't just sign up, walk in and expect to become an accredited reporter. It doesn't work like that. You need to start writing articles first, copyediting others work, and contribute a fair bit before you even think of doing this. No, no and thrice, NO.
