There are always things to do on Wikinews:

Datrio skin

Hi there, welcome to en wikinews. Some of the structure of en wikinews is slightly different from pl wikinews, so some versions of the datrio skin don't work perfectly here. We maintain an alternate version that works for the en wikinews which you can use by changing your special:mypage/monobook.css to have only the line:

@import url(http://en.wikinews.org/w/index.php?title=Wikinews:Skins/Datrio.css&action=raw&ctype=text/css);

Accreditation

Hmm...good question. if I were you I would ask User:Brianmc. We did it once before I believe. Bu he would be the best one to ask. I guess it would depend on your contributions to Wikinews. That is a good amount of contributions. I do wish we had some way of having all Wikinews languages having accreditation. I hope that we can work something out. DragonFire1024 (Talk to the Dragon) 18:05, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

Craig Spurrier and a few others are working on the "Collaborative Media Network" as a non-profit which would provide accreditation for different site, not just wikinews sites. However, we have a couple of people who predominantly work on other language wikinews.

I can't think of any pithy advice, and as I can't read your home wiki I'd have to rely on others vouching for you. The first suggestion that comes to mind is improving your userpage here and perhaps translating a couple of things over from it.WN (or the below suggestion about football). On your userpage list a few links to the articles you think are your best on it.WN, basically don't rush into accreditation and build a solid case. --Brian McNeil / ^talk 20:24, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
