I reverted your removal of a speedy tag because in my opinion at the time the article qualified for speedy deletion as spam/advertising/press release. To date I have yet to see any verifiable evidence to support any of the statements within the article which were not made by Elias Davidson. The evidence for a smear campaign also existed - repeated copy/pastes of press release on open news sites or newswires, old news reported as new, etc.

This variety of article is commonly known as an "attack article", and is primary evidence of bad faith editing because it is not written to report news or support any part of Wikinews's goals, but to gain publicity for a cause or political/religious organization or viewpoint. - Amgine | talk en.WN 17:15, 19 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Re: NZ Portal "Redesign" edit

Thanks for asking my feedback ;). I quite liked it, especially the top part with the top story, etc. And thanks for fixing the Browse Wikinews New Zealand section. Maybe increase the top story font? As we say in my TIM (text and information management) class: "graduated emphasis". nzgabriel 07:43, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

Edit edit

Hi, can you please edit the NZ Portal so the change link is right aligned? Or is that not possible. It's only a suggestion. nzgabriel 07:44, 24 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Switcharoo edit

Hi, can you please switch the position of Other New Zealand News and Featured Story (featured story on the left-hand side). If you agree with me then change it please. The reason for this change is, I think, because featured story sounds more important than other news and people read from left to right. I'd do it myself but I am not familiar with code. --Nzgabriel | My RfA | Talk page 06:45, 29 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

You said on my talkpage that you were going to do the proposed change, it hasn't been done yet, when can we expect it to be visible? --Gabriel | My RfA | Talk page 07:43, 30 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Featured edit

We were talking a while ago about changing the featured story box to something different, come up with any new ideas on what it could be switched to? --Nzgabriel | Talk 03:59, 4 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
