- Yes, you are right that it says that you should use the original reporting tag when reporting from a television report. However, it also says you should make detailed notes and post those on the collaboration (talk) page. At some point we will have to be able to verify all claims in an article, and simply adding the original reporting tag does not suffice. Here are the relevant policies.
