AB-me
Welcome
editAB-me, welcome to Wikinews! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
Our key policies - if you read anything, read these!
- Wikinews:Neutral point of view - tell every side to a story in a fair and balanced way
- Wikinews:Cite sources - everything in a Wikinews article must be sourced
Here a few pointers to help you get to know Wikinews:
- Wikinews:Introduction - overview of the site
- Wikinews:Writing an article - how to write and publish a complete article
- Wikinews:Content guide - what's suitable for Wikinews
- Wikinews:Contents - the contents page.
There are always things to do on Wikinews:
- Existing articles need expanding and checking for spelling and mistakes
- The front page lead articles often need updating
- Developing stories need finishing and publishing
- Discussions need your input
- Audio Wikinews could always use more contributors
- And of course, stories need writing!
By the way, you can sign your name on Talk pages using four tildes (~~~~), which produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, you can ask them at the water cooler or to anyone on the Welcommittee, or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome! Adambro 17:40, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
Regarding Image:Tourdefrance.png
editHi, could you provide the source of this image please. Thanks. Adambro 17:40, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
- Well, I just converted Image:Tourdefrance.gif to .png. Is that source enough? (the original picture was uploaded on en.wiki by User:Calliopejen1) AB-me 18:53, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
What a development! You scooped me on that one. I was still updating the story on the race itself when suddenly that popped up. Millar is right, cycling has a long tough road ahead to regain legitimacy. Så du snakker dansk? Det vidste jeg ikke. --SVTCobra 21:58, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
- I saw a one-sentence (ten-eleven) words on the DR-page and couldn't believe it. Cycling is definitely in deep sh@# now. Sad, really. AB-me 22:06, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
- But I must say that they are cracking down so hard now, that cyclists have begin to believe that they can't get away with it. And the way it hurts their team-mates has to be a motivation to stop, too. I guess Rabobank hasn't withdrawn the team, but Cofidis and Astana are both gone.--SVTCobra 22:09, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
- Jeg havde håbet på en ny dansk mester, nu da Bjarne Riis indrømmede at han snød. --SVTCobra 22:11, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
- I think there has to be a major (like MAJOR-major) point for the riders to wake up - but maybe this could be it. Tror jeg mere eller mindre alle danskere havde - der kommer ekstranyheder på TV2 nu, forresten. AB-me 22:14, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
