Welcome to Wikinews! Thanks for creating Serbian police look for Mladic, we need more articles like this. There are a few issues that must be dealt with before it can be published. The most important is that all Wikinews articles must cite sources for the information they contain. We usually cite sources using the {{sources}} tag at the bottom of the article. When you click "edit" there are instructions for using the {{sources}} tag underneath the "Save page" button. If your article contains original reporting, you should read the information at Wikinews:original reporting. You may also wish to consider requesting an interview rather than writing an article.
Discussion about your article will occur on the article talk page. You are welcome to go there and participate in the discussion with other Wikinews contributors. - Borofkin 07:30, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

hello! edit
Welcome!
169.244.99.10, welcome to Wikinews! Thank you for your contributions I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
Our key policies - if you read anything, read these!
- Wikinews:Neutral point of view - tell every side to a story in a fair and balanced way
- Wikinews:Cite sources - everything in a Wikinews article must be sourced
Here a few pointers to help you get to know Wikinews:
- Wikinews:Introduction - overview of the site
- Wikinews:Writing an article - how to write and publish a complete article
- Wikinews:Content guide - what's suitable for Wikinews
- Wikinews:Contents - the contents page.
There are always things to do on Wikinews:
- Existing articles need expanding and checking for spelling and mistakes
- The front page lead articles often need updating
- Developing stories need finishing and publishing
- Discussions need your input
- And of course, stories need writing!
Here are some other hints and tips:
- I would recommend that you get a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikinews, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
- When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.
If you have any questions, you can ask them at the water cooler or to anyone on the Welcommittee, or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome! — Doldrums(talk) 15:30, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
Elections edit
Are you going to post pages for every candidate running for re-election? I suggest you read our Content Guide. Thank you.--Steven Fruitsmaak (Reply) 15:36, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
stub articles edit
hi, thanks for contributing to wikinews. i see u've created many articles on a variety of subjects. i encourage you to find sources for the articles and expand them until they're ready for publishing. note that news articles have a short shelf life, and unless they're published within a day or two, they lose their significance. i thought i shld point this out to you, as hoping that other people will expand articles you create is a hit-or-miss affair, in my experience. — Doldrums(talk) 15:46, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
I hope people contribute to my stubs because i really want the news to be out there. doldrums help me
- i too hope people will expand those articles, but going by previous experience, not all the articles u've created are likely to be published only by others' expanding. Wikinews is still a fairly small community, so there aren't a number of active editors intersetred in contributing on every topic. so i'm just giving u a heads-up early, so that u can consider creating and expanding a few articles instead of creating a large numbers of stubs and hoping for others to expand all of them. but i do hope my prediction will be proved wrong :) — Doldrums(talk) 15:58, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
man jumps building is a hoax and i ment for it on unnews. sorry and p.s. doldrums thanks.
