UEFA Euro 2016, day 11: Russia-Wales, Slovakia-England

Yesterday in UEFA Euro 2016, Wales defeated Russia 3–0 and Slovakia versus England ended in a goalless draw. Wales and England have qualified for the Last 16 knockout phase.

Group B — Russia 0–3 Wales

Aaron Ramsey scored the opening goal of the match in the 11th minute. Within a further ten minutes, Neil Taylor scored the second goal for Wales. In the 67th minute, Gareth Bale scored their third goal of the game and his third of the tournament, making him currently the top scorer in Euro 2016.

Wales won the match 3–0 to qualify for the Last 16 knockout phase as Group B table toppers, while Russia have been eliminated, after finishing fourth in the group with just one point.

Group B — Slovakia 0–0 England

After defeating Wales 2–1 in their last match, England, led by Gary Cahill, played Slovakia. Having better ball possession and passing accuracy, England had 28 attempts at goal while Slovakia managed just four attempts. One player of each team was booked and the match ended in a 0–0 draw.

England have qualified for the Last 16 knockout phase, finishing second in the group with one victory and two draws. Slovakia finished third with four points.
