Attempts
edit@Acagastya: I'd like to make the first instance of the word attempt(s a wikilink, to an explanation of what it means (as we sometimes do with other terms such as yellow card); but I've yet to find a suitable target for the wikilink. Even though it is the word the source uses. --Pi zero (talk) 03:16, 22 June 2016 (UTC)
- Shooting (association football), perhaps. Either a link or a word or two added (or a synonym used) because "X had 5 attempts and Y had 17" invites the response "attempts to do what?" Bencherlite (talk) 08:39, 22 June 2016 (UTC)
- On second thoughts, "shots" doesn't include headers but "attempts" does. I suggest we use "attempts at goal". Bencherlite (talk) 08:53, 22 June 2016 (UTC)
