I really think this is a bad idea on many levels. How do you safeguard this advertisment from attracting pranksters who may call and lie to us just to get their vandalism-by-proxy on the site?? -- Davodd | Talk 06:45, 23 July 2005 (UTC)

It's much easier to ell that someone's lying by their voice than by a post they make onto the internet. I'd really appreciate if you'd get consensus before you delete pages. -- NGerda 16:32, July 23, 2005 (UTC)

Davodd raises the same concerns I have. This is a non-starter. We also don't need this spammy template appearing on extremely serious stories a lot of people are working very hard on. Dan100 (Talk) 16:37, 23 July 2005 (UTC)

I don't understand why you call this a "spammy template" or "fugly", but it serves a purpose of supporting Wikinews and if you think it looks ugly, you or us can easily fix that. -- NGerda 16:46, July 23, 2005 (UTC)

Deletion
