Using this archive

The current main page doesn't have a "News in Pictures" section. So I am putting some favorite examples of photojournalism directly here. This could be useful if we run a picture of the year competition this year. --InfantGorilla (talk) 11:10, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

Criteria

I propose some inclusion guidelines:

1. Picture of the news (not a file picture)
2. Appears in a published article at English Wikinews this year
3. You like it

May be any type of picture media, such as a photograph or graphic.
