Perhaps we should mention that this is about pl wikipedia in title. Most people would expect that this is about the english wikipedia at first glance. just a thought. Cheers. Bawolff 23:07, 13 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
The title of the article does need to be changed, but what should it be changed to? --Rayboy8 (my talk) (my contributions) 23:18, 13 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
Something like "Wikinews interviews journalist who uncovered Batuta hoax" or something similar. Calebrw (talk) 23:37, 13 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

/me notes that the interview was translated from pl wikinews. Bawolff 01:44, 14 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
Correct. Does that count as a source? I've never really dealt with this before... Benny the mascot (talk) 01:45, 14 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
I'm author of this interview (typo by Krzysiu jarzyna), first notes are here. Powerek38 as translator will send an e-mail. Do you want an e-mail from Konrad Godlewski too? Przykuta (talk) 11:34, 14 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
I confirm I did translate this interview from Polish to English, taking the original text from one of the versions at the Polish Wikinews. If you would like me to send an e-mail with this confirmation, please let me know about the appropriate e-mail adress (if possible, via my plWiki talk page as I don't come here to enWikiNews too often). I'd like to confirm with someone who can make the corrections based on the original article, but I have the following suggestions:

Yes, it's actually my high school nickname – conew. Sadly, after some time I stopped. My family got bigger and I didn't have enough time to make the entire humanity happier. CM: "the entirety of humanity"? "all of humanity"?
I had a chance to about it with Jimmy Wales. CM: I assume "talk about it"?
It's a petty it is now stuck somewhere in Gazeta'sarchives because it a really great job by the photo editor. CM: "It's a pity" ... "Gazeta's archives".
It's horrifying but we are surrounded by the half-truths and lies. CM: Remove "the"?
Batuta's Army was invented by the hoax' creators as we spoke. CM: Pretty sure the possessive of "hoax" is "hoax's".

Some of them are obvious typos with obvious fixes, but I figure it's better to fix them all in one go so I haven't touched the article yet. Chris Mann (Say hi!|Stalk me!) 06:55, 15 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, this is the main problem with translations, that one usually has to go through more copyediting. I can sort-of understand Polish, so i can probably tell what was meant by looking at the original and see if i can have a go with correcting the mistakes.
