Talk:Wikinews attends US debut of film The People's Joker
Notes
edithttps://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1cBsCSlt9vWlNchf2xEtsqhXGyeVLi9sw. Video is not in an acceptable codec for Commons and needs to be converted. That process will take time, so here is a quick fix for verifying claims in the news article. For photos (and someday, the video): c:Category:The People's Joker premiere at Los Angeles Outfest. —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 16:27, 16 July 2023 (UTC)
- Methinks these notes should be here as well instead of just residing in a hidden comment in the Sources section, so I'm copying them over: "Original reporting claims include: LeRose gave $12 for the commission, the letter was not cease-and-desist (as previously reported), quotations from Drew and the events that occurred at the screening, 2022 cut was completed minutes before Drew got on the plane to go to Toronto, cast did not appear in solidarity with strike". As a formality, can you provide a basic statement here along the lines of "I was there, these people spoke, I took these photos and videos, etc."? Also, if you think your photos are bad, you should see the first photo in this. Heavy Water (talk) 23:06, 17 July 2023 (UTC)
- Confirmed: I was there, these people spoke, I took these photos and videos, it was a lot of fun. (the latter is not objective or newsworthy, but factual). —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 23:11, 17 July 2023 (UTC)

- Fear not. This is OR so it won't go stale for a long time. Nonetheless, I was planning to review it today. Heavy Water (talk) 16:49, 22 July 2023 (UTC)

Review of revision 4738909 [Passed]

Revision 4738909 of this article has been reviewed by Heavy Water (talk · contribs) and has passed its review at 05:27, 25 July 2023 (UTC).
Comments by reviewer: Whew. I think this took several hours in total. See edit history; note the Daily Beast claims the film creation process began "around the end of 2019", but presumably that's a misquote as LeRose, Drew, and other sources contradict it. The reviewed revision should automatically have been edited by removing {{Review}} and adding {{Publish}} at the bottom, and the edit sighted; if this did not happen, it may be done manually by a reviewer. |

- Merci, bedankt, etc. —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 05:35, 25 July 2023 (UTC)
- Oh, in the future, could you provide timestamps for stuff sourced to videos and audio? Great job on the OR and all, BTW. Heavy Water (talk) 16:58, 25 July 2023 (UTC)
- A wise decision. I'm not sure that it's "great", but it's serviceable. If I can figure out how to take a photo someday, I'll let you know. —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 17:05, 25 July 2023 (UTC)
