- Not the first “tattoo” since it was below ToO (threshold of originality) as it was just a blue blob. But, the second one was definitely. Think about this: when Stan Lee draws Spider-Man, he is the author, but Marvel Comics owns the copyright. In any case, a photo of Spider-Man tattoo (which becomes the primary subject so no chance of de minimis) can not be released in a license which would allow commercial or distribution, because the sketch is copyrighted and the character is copyrighted and the one taking photo can not completely "own" the works of someone else. In this case, Amazon.com owns the copyright of the character.

{{img |filename = 2017_Bangalore_ComicCon_(media)_IMG_1115.JPG |caption = Spider-Man and Loki |author = acagastya }}
"general cases" does not include <gallery>. Not sure about image select.

editWe can not have a link to the category because anyone can add an image to this category. They could also de-categorise the image(s) and that would be tedious thing to do. We could, however, create a page where there are all the images, and protect the page against rename or edit without sighting it, right?

- @Acagastya: The article is a page containing images from the event, and ultimately becomes protected against arbitrary changes. Why have another such page as well? --Pi zero (talk) 04:07, 9 December 2017 (UTC)
- cause not all photos were featured in the article— arranging these images is too much work to do and it is easier to provide link to the entire gallery than to give photos . (Oh, finally I got the joke about pointers. After one a half years!)

Non-free content criteria
editCan I see non-free content criteria of English Wikinews? --sasha (krassotkin) 22:14, 16 December 2017 (UTC)
- @Acagastya: Do I recall that you were going to fill in further details on the rationales for these images? --Pi zero (talk) 20:40, 29 December 2017 (UTC)
- Haven’t forgotten. Just trying to minimise extra work by knowing how to make it machine readable.
