I don't know if any of the white house was actually evacuated. The sources seem to say "The buildings included were the White House Conference Center and buildings surrounding Blair House — where Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is staying as he prepares for a meeting with President Bush on Tuesday." I know that the press corps used to be housed inside the white house, but I think they were removed a year or so ago. (some transparency in that thar' Bush white house eh?
