OR Notes edit

As a resident of the city, I was affected by the water outage. I went down to the scene and took photos. I was also at the supermarket, from which I may share some observations. Notes here will be expanded upon. --SVTCobra 23:33, 10 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

I have decided to scrap the bit about the run on water at the supermarket. I feel to put it in proper context, I would need to bring up how many people were without electricity for days after Hurricane Isaias, some 300 still don't have power a full week after. So the mood was definitely, well, here's another thing that we are going to have to deal with for a long time. Anyway. on to the notes ...

I used the news choppers to approximate were the break was and parked as close as I could as the police obviously closed the nearby streets. I walked upon the scene around 6:20 pm and the time stamps in my photos bear that out. The water had been contained and the choppers left. So there was nothing worthy of video. There was no one who wasn't far behind the police barrier to talk to. None of the bystanders on my side of the street seemed to have been there for the whole thing, so no interviews were conducted. I didn't jot down any notes, the photos are my documentation. Everything else is supported by sources.

The last two sources are used only for the purpose of the final sentence. --SVTCobra 19:05, 11 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Oh, and the photographs are also documentation for the choice of map and document the exact intersection as street signs are visible and somewhat legible. --SVTCobra 23:53, 11 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Headline edit

Needs a verb. (We'll also want to expand NY, but that's a lesser detail.) --Pi zero (talk) 00:10, 11 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
