Talk:United States Government loses AAA credit rating from Standard and Poor's

I really do wonder why so few Wikinews readers bother to rate good news and why a breaking story needs be delayed so long as to become stale news?

Good report for me, but am I the only one using the star rating section in the World, or am I the only Wiki reader who reads other people's stories, other vthan the official reviewers? --Robbygay (talk) 00:33, 8 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

The only reason the story got delayed was because I never put it up for review. I wrote the base of the work, but due to commitments on the work front and a lot of time spent out of the house in other areas, I've had very little net access to get in and finish the job. I initially marked it as a brief so that I could come back and expand it, but I never got the time to expand it. Sorry it got delayed, but real life at my end comes before real life everywhere else I'm afraid. Sorry. BarkingFish (talk) 11:37, 9 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
