Talk:Ukrainian President Zelenskyy denies Russian claim of capture of Bakhmut
Notes
edit1. Sources don't explicitly say the G7 summit is in Hiroshima. CNN says: "In his comments at the G7, Zelensky said pictures of ruined Hiroshima he has seen on his visit to the Japanese city "really remind" him of Bakhmut. If the reviewer wants to hedge on that, I'm fine with it. They don't explicitly say the images of "ruined Hiroshima" are historical, either, but I assume that is fairly obvious.
2. I think PBS is only used for Cherevatyi's "not true" quote. Heavy Water (talk) 17:08, 22 May 2023 (UTC)
- And the beheading videos sentence is sourced to Ukraine decries videoed beheadings as committed by Russian 'beasts'. Heavy Water (talk) 03:38, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
- @JJLiu112: Doesn't "Ukraine's president seemed to imply Bakhmut had fallen" violate NPOV? Since we aren't saying to whom this seemed. Heavy Water (talk) 15:15, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
- Also Malyar is a woman and deputy defense minister. Heavy Water (talk) 15:18, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
- "Western sector" must have been cut when a source "updated" since submitting for review. Heavy Water (talk) 15:20, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks. JJLiu112 (talk) 15:21, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
- I think, with the paragraphs arranged thusly, Cherevatyi's "not true" doesn't add much value. Malyar's covers the initial Ukrainian response to the video. Heavy Water (talk) 15:29, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
- I agree. JJLiu112 (talk) 15:30, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
- @JJLiu112: As in the notes, the sources don't mention the WWII bombing of Hiroshima. In my opinion, this is something the reader will think of upon reading "destruction in Hiroshima". Heavy Water (talk) 15:55, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
- Same for the Zelenskyy-Biden press conference being after the focal comments (or any other comments) and Fyodor Sergeyev. Heavy Water (talk) 16:01, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
- "The only exceptions are the obvious, e.g. France is in Europe, the Pope is a Catholic." Re Hiroshima; Sergeyev I acquiesce, although leniency has been granted in the past for e.g. minor research (e,g., information clarified for captions, for example). JJLiu112 (talk) 16:07, 23 May 2023 (UTC)

Review of revision 4729140 [Passed]

Revision 4729140 of this article has been reviewed by JJLiu112 (talk · contribs) and has passed its review at 16:27, 23 May 2023 (UTC).
Comments by reviewer: Overall fine. Some problems for formatting and keeping inverted pyramid. AP sometimes forgoes this for just a stream of disconnected wires. Thanks for your due diligence and checking me in the talk. As always your meticulous fact-finding is appreciated. The reviewed revision should automatically have been edited by removing {{Review}} and adding {{Publish}} at the bottom, and the edit sighted; if this did not happen, it may be done manually by a reviewer. |

- Thanks, for the review and the compliment. Wikipedia says the AP completely dropped inverted pyramid in 2007. I've just made a few more edits on similar lines. Heavy Water (talk) 16:43, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
- How strange. I wonder why? Also, didn't realise AP wasn't italicised (anymore? Or was that always policy). --JJLiu112 (talk) 17:12, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
- WN:SG#Names of publications and articles applies, I think. Heavy Water (talk) 18:50, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
