What an odd and interesting interview! They really have a unique view of the world. They underestimate terrorism, the reason there aren't terrorists in were they live is because governments work to stop them. But I have to admire their view on Chechnya. The Russians are just as bad as they were in the cold war, too bad that war ended in a truce rather than in victory. Contralya 16:01, 16 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • I think towards the end they were playing with me a bit, which I enjoyed. Maybe not, but 45 minutes of blowing up China and man boobs with people who are expecting "Tell me about your new album" questions probably set their creative minds aflame. --David Shankbone 23:01, 16 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Great Interview

edit

Well done with a great interview.

I saw both the Southpaw and Bowery Ballroom shows.

I loved all the answers Sharin & Sune gave here. Though I don't necessarily agree with all of their opinions, I find them to be two of the most honest and intelligent people out there.

I think I find their thoughts on time travel and the fourth dimenion the most amusing of all!

Really great interview, first-class quality! And the photos are well crafted too. Funny I should find this so late (and re-discover raveonettes so late). Sverdrup - (talk) 00:35, 3 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia selling out

edit

My life, so much for objectivity on Wikipedia. I realise Wikinews is a seperate project, but the two overlap and use the same format and it gives the wrong impression. For one thing, it makes the Wiki foundation look less like an alturistic organisation and more like a corporation. Secondly, the moment u let PR people influence one section, they will b looking to influence wikipedia articles too and it generates a conflcit of interests. It may even explain why this band have such a ridiculously long entry. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.238.30.73 (talk) 17:43, 26 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
