"...to commemorate the 65th anniversary since Nazi Germany surrendered." "65th anniversary since...surrendered" does not seem correct to me, only "to commemorate 65 years since...surrendered" or "to commemorate the 65th anniversary of Nazi Germany's surrender" as I changed it to.
