Most people don't encounter terms like AUD. But yes, it's redundant. I prefer AU$. Can someone move the article to "Party involving 500 youths in Australia results in AU$20,000 damage bill" ?? -- 203.57.68.20 10:00, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

- I think I addressed the issues about the currency styling per this, both in the title and and the article. I removed the claim of charges for child pornography, which could not be found in the listed sources. --SVTCobra 00:25, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- The child pornography charges appear to be real, and have been re-added by Johnl with a source this time. The source is dated Jan 16, which is after the date of this article, but is probably attributable to the time difference between UTC and Australia. --SVTCobra 03:02, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
