Comments by reviewer: Big picture: the stated focus (50th day) is uncertain; a change of focus isn't something a reviewer can do, and there's no good alternative here atm. Perhaps the reporter can provide an alternative focus, but it'd unfortunately need to be some new development at this point. One source from Wednesday says "almost" 50 days. The other from Wednesday says "50 days" rather casually and I doubt it's a precise figure. The source from Monday says six weeks (which would be approximately 42 days). None of the sources say just when he started the strike. Apparently, PHR made its statement on Wednesday, ICRC on Tuesday, PIJ on Monday. Each of those events has just one source here, and the most recent of them is about to pass into its fourth calendar day. Questions about the above? Ask.
