MS: Hello, this is Max Storms at NORML how may I help you?

JDB: Hello, my name is Jdbethel, I'm a journalism student at USI and I would like to ask you a few questions about the recent raids on medical marijuana facilities across the nation.

MS: Ok

JDB: What are your thoughts on the raids?

MS: We think they're terrible. They're taking medecine away from people and some of these people are community builders. It's definitely not good policy to raid businesses that are functioning under state law.

JDB: Do you think the raids will have a long term impact on the medical marijuana industry?

MS: It's a pretty potent industry. It's almost too big to fail, like the banks.

JDB: Many people see this as a flip-flop of policy for Obama. What do you think about that?

MS: I would agree with that. We think that his statements back in 2008 regarding leaving the industry alone were a ploy to pull in liberal voters. At this point he's worse than Bush on this issue.

JDB: Well, that's all the questions I have for you, thank you for your time, what was your name again?

MS: Max Storms

You're going to have to give more identifying information about Storms as I can't pull up a past history of quotes with that name. Is he part of national, state or local? Crtew (talk) 12:41, 26 April 2012 (UTC)

The Huffington cite from Gennet seem gratuitous as I don't see any information that was drawn from in the story.Crtew (talk) 12:47, 26 April 2012 (UTC)

What about POV issue here? Have you found a source that would advocate/defend the raids as good policy? Crtew (talk) 12:51, 26 April 2012 (UTC)

On the more minor side of things, since we're aiming to provide as much feedback as possible, the title needs a small change. We're an international publication, so we can't call him 'President' unadorned; he isn't my President, for example. There are two options. One would be to make it "US President Obama..." and the other, since Obama is so famous internationally, would be to take out the President and simply headline him as plain ol' "Obama".
