Talk:International community marks the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People
The image is released under GNU Free Documentation License and is Compatibility_with_CC-BY-SA. The FSF stated that all content added before November 1st, 2008 to Wikipedia as an example satisfies these conditions. I think the removal was based on lack of understanding of licensing. There does seem to be a problem with resizing if anyone knowns why, please fix. thanks Mrchris (talk) 18:58, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
- I don't know about the copyright, I'll leave someone esle to deal with that. But the picture won't resize because it is missing some of the png code (white stripe at the bottom). The version on enwikipedia is OK, so when I corrected earlier, I copied it from there. I'm going to wait to see if it's deleted again first though, and have taken it out of the article while it is so big. If the image is completely free, why don't you upload it to Wikimedia Commons, where the picture can be used here and on any other Wikimedia projewct. Thanks - tholly --Talk-- 19:05, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
- The image was deleted from Commons because the source is not trustworthy and has a history of passing off other's work as their own. Wikipedia is not a valid source and the image should likely also be deleted from there. Wikinews should not perpetuate copyright infringement. --Brian McNeil / talk 19:21, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you for your explanation I couldn't figure out why a GNU Free Documentation License image kept getting deleted. Mrchris (talk) 19:34, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
- The image is not GFDL. Wikipedia does not accept GFDL images. They are to be placed on Commons, and this being present on Wikipedia is likely because the uploader ignored the message when it was deleted from Commons. --Brian McNeil / talk 19:41, 28 November 2008 (UTC)

Title
editThe title is encyclopedic. I don't know why the Bethlehem demonstration was before the Day. Should this be held up to include events on the actual day? It will also be important to maintain WN:NPOV in this story. --SVTCobra 00:22, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
