Apparently she abandoned the venue where the interruptions were. Replacing "amid" with "despite" in the headline still doesn't convey this abandonment aspect; but "amid" seemed to me to suggest pressing on with the delivery in the venue with the interruptions. --Pi zero (talk) 16:08, 16 October 2019 (UTC)

Yes, I agree. I was never real happy with the title, though I don't think this is materially different. Maybe we should be more direct in the headline. "Hong Kong's Carrie Lam delivers speech on video after protests in legislature" or similar? --SVTCobra 16:58, 16 October 2019 (UTC)
