Use of editorial
editI question the use of the editorial as "the final say" in the matter. Also, the exclusive use of the Orlando Sentinel as source material opens questions. This can't be the only newspaper in Orlando. --SVTCobra 02:14, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
- The Sentinel is the only major paper in Orlando and the main paper for most of Central Florida.
- The Orlando Sentinel is the primary newspaper of the Orlando, Florida region. It was founded in 1876 and is currently in its 131st year of publication. The Sentinel is owned by Tribune Company and is overseen by the Chicago Tribune. As of 2005, the Sentinel’s president and publisher is Kathleen Waltz. TheCustomOfLife 02:18, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
- Would it be so bad to add the St. Petersburg Times and their piece, Wrongheaded remark warrants swift apology, even if it too is an editorial? For some other coverage you can also find Brown-Waite asked to apologize for 'foreign citizens' remark in the Pacific Daily News. Just suggesting other independent material. --SVTCobra 02:47, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
- Would it be bad? Not at all. I didn't add those because I couldn't find them in my search. Please try to AGF. TheCustomOfLife 04:21, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

- There is absolutely nothing wrong with using editorials as a source when their opinion is clearly attributed. In my opinion the article reads well and represents all sides fairly. --Brian McNeil / talk 10:08, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
