If you are going to tag an article as being POV, you should state specifically what about the article is POV. For example, regarding this article you could say "This article is not NPOV because it doesn't present the point-of-view of the Bulgarian justice system. The article would be more balanced if it included some quotes from a representative of the Bulgarian government, judges, prosecuting lawyers, etc". - Borofkin 08:08, 27 July 2005 (UTC)Reply
This article is indeed POV and it harms Bulgaria's image without a good reason. There is no evidence that the fan is innocent, or at least no evidence has been presented to the legal authorities in Bulgaria aa it should have been; instead, the only witness that supports the fan's innocence ran away from the country before he wrote hisinfamous letter. And with this letter, which was written by the other guy who attacked the Bulgarian barman, is a weak evidence for the Liverpool's fans innocence. On the contrary, facts are that the barman was heavily injured by at least one of those two people: the one currently in jail and the other who ran away and wrote the letter after that. Indeed, there is an extremely high probability that justice was done as it should have been. Therefore this "news article" is POV and at least its wring title "Controversy over Liverpool fan jailed in Bulgaria" has to be changed to the neutral "Liverpool fan jailed in Bulgaria". ~ by Cryout

I verified all information in this story with other sources and it appears to be correct. Furthermore, I followed through with the actionable requests from Borofkin regarding statements from Bulgaria. ----RossKoepkeTalk 08:09, 29 July 2005 (UTC)Reply

Uncle G is correct, the date should be July 29 because the bottom of the article contains new information that we didn't know before. That's why I updated the date from the 27 to the 29. ----RossKoepkeTalk 13:49, 30 July 2005 (UTC)Reply
