Doesn't jive

First paragraph says Paterson was going to appoint her. Third paragraph says he was not going to choose her for the position. --SVTCobra 03:22, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

Apology for undiscussed move

I removed "Report: " from the headline, as (by my reading of the sources) Kennedy issued a statement on Wednesday morning.

I apologize for not checking the logs first: DragonFire1024 had added that word because he thought it was not confirmed. If I had noticed I would have discussed it first.

Would you like me to revert it?

I wrote: Kennedy issued a statement on Wednesday morning which is probably not true. Goodness knows when she issued the statement. The dateline at Fox News seems to be wrong. At least all agree on the wording of the single sentence, and I am pretty confident to write that she withdrew "yesterday". --InfantGorilla (talk) 14:13, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

I don't have a web source, but she released a statement at 12 midnight, Thursday morning (today). Very brief though. DragonFire1024 (Talk to the Dragon) 15:02, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
