I heard on the radio that 3 of the victims have died and the rest are alive
Another mofo feels depressed so he shoots at random people. What a dick head! Just cause he feels bad, he feels he has the obligation to shoot whoever he wants. This fucking pisses me off. I admit I've been depressed for long periods of time before- that doesn't mean I get to kill innocent people. The government should seriously do something about gun control. It seems like every time a school shooting happens the government tries to sweep it under the rug. They don't do shit about it. It will continue to happen unless someone does something. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.181.73.105 (talk) 00:57, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
I agree. I have no problem with people who want out of this world and want to end their lives, but this trend of taking other people with them is out of control. --SVTCobra 01:19, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
Another one..... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.126.222.62 (talk) 06:08, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
"The government should seriously do something about gun control." Government do something about gun control? I'm SURE gun control would have stopped him from going into that "weapons free" school zone and shooting the place up. The only solution is to arm the faculty to the teeth to keep the students safe. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.183.189.146 (talk) 17:41, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
Both of those views are ineffective and useless. The 2nd amendment won't be removed, and you can't arm a staff; no student would feel safe then. There's not necessarily a PROBLEM with the way things are now; people are just abusing the system.

I can't help but notice that almost all school shootings take place in the USA. congratulations for having such a fine country. 80.57.174.103 22:43, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
I agree totally on the above comment. In Australia, we introduced gun control laws after a tragic massacre, and since then there have been significantly lower incidents of gun violence. Pull your head in US, 2nd ammendment or whatever it is is out of date, perhaps relavent in colonial times but certainly not now. <Hoj Ferwerk - (talk) 09:20, 18 February 2008 (UTC)>
Ironic
editI don't want to take away from the seriousness of this occurence and I am certainly not wanting to degrade the lives that have been taken away today, but I had to point on the irony in this: "He was pursuing a graduate degree in sociology, with an emphasis in peace and social justice." I guess he failed that course! --Nzgabriel | Talk 09:57, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
- Slap me too because I had a laugh when I saw he was in the sociology field. My friend pursuing his PHD in Sociology right now is by far the last person I would ever expect to do anything like this. Sociologists are yaaawwwn. They're the Math majors of liberal arts. .:*:*:DAVUMAYA:*:*:. - (talk) 19:42, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
Look up school shootings on here and see that other places have them as well. Yes, the US has more then Canada and The World combined but don't live in ignorance and think they only happen here. Your countries have plenty of problems with violence as well so don't act like it is all rainbows there. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.82.171.38 (talk) 04:30, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
