WTF????????!!!!! What is this? MUST KNOW MORE. This could be WWIII!
Call me paranoid, but I don't think well of Putin, he calls the U.S. imperialist, nationalizes industry and press, and it seems to me that he rigged his approval rating to be the very best... I remember him saying about wanting more time as president. Might this be the new soviet union stuff? Look at this video: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6598411387536744034&q=putin&total=17081&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=6 I hope I am wrong about this... but it looks like the former KGB agent is the next Stalin. Time to shine NATO, the question is: will this be a new cold war? Or will it get hot, like atomic bomb hot?Contralya 14:01, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
Two words...
editOh shit... Anyway, that's a very very bold move of Putin to do that, I have a feeling the UN is going to be PISSED. Kwsn 18:13, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
Yea, they should tear him a new one. I am sure he gets hassled because of his strict control of the media already. I hope this takes some pressure off the U.S., people always seem to forget what we were fighting against in the cold war. Do you think his objective is to secure his permanent presidency?
The thing is about what he is doing, it is mostly an internal affair of Russia, they know the world would be against them in open war, and that too many soviet allies are aligned with the west now to fight a cold war. I wonder what his relations to the terrorists and N Korea, Iran, Venezuela and Cuba are? You never know, KGB agents are trained to lie well. Though that is a little paranoid. Just being prepared for the worst; you never know when you may need to take up arms and become a partisan :D .Contralya 21:48, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
Overreacted, please apologize
editWhoever wrote the article originally was exaggerating, perhaps to get viewers? But in any case, I have studied sudden change in government in the past, were someone could kick the staff out and replace them with hand picked pawns... And you shouldn't joke around like that with someone like Putin (if you look at the video I posted above) and I am sure it would lead many to believe that he was trying to force more terms as president. Whoever wrote the article originally owes me an apology! Part of the reason I come here is because this site doesn't exaggerate like other news services seem to.
