Talk:Russian prime minister resigns at President Vladimir Putin's request

Latest comment: 17 years ago by Contralya in topic Incorrect Title

what's with the anti-putin angle on this story? The BBC article, makes it sound like it was the governments decision not putins, this article sounds like Putin's power hungry. I think it needs re-wording

This is a real front pager, assuming we get more info.

O, and please link the Kremlin link to the Moscow Kremlin, rather than what it is linked to now. Contralya 14:37, 12 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Incorrect Title

Why are we calling it "Russian President Vladimir Putin dissolves government", instead of what it really is, "Russian Prime Minister Resigns". If Putin had dissolved the government then there would have been a lot more people losing jobs than one, because the government consists of more than one person. Unless more government officials have lost jobs than just one, the title must be changed. 76.185.112.148 22:53, 12 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yea, whoever titled it made it sound like their was a change in government. That wasn't fair to a cold war historian like myself. I know how sudden changes in government can happen, I am embarrassed. Contralya 13:18, 13 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
